To live up to our promise, we make Fuatino’s using the time-tested methods of our ancestors. We use only the best, freshest coconuts handpicked by our trusted farmers. We rely on the natural wet fermentation process that is gentler than any other method and preserves the most valuable coconut nutrients, and we press, separate, and filter our oil through cotton filters, by hand, the way our ancestors have been doing it for hundreds of years.

SCHOLARSHIPS
Samoa not only gave birth to our product, it is our home. We are proud of the islands and the rich culture and we want to preserve it for generations to come. It is our dream to create a product that is not just healthy, but also socially and environmentally ethical. That is why we work only with sustainable plantations and re-use and repurpose 100% of all that’s left of our coconuts after the oil is extracted.
But it is not just the islands that we care about; it is the people too. We go out of our way to treat them well. We more than doubled the price our farmers get for their coconuts. In addition, we pay per piece rather than the hourly wage that is typical in the market. This allows our farmers to make more money, sometimes earning more in a day than what they would make in a week elsewhere. And we ensure that every single one of our employees receives a stake in the profit of our company. We all rise together.
Fuatino is intimately linked to our ancestral village of Matautu, Lefaga. Through supporting Fuatino Coconut Oil you too are helping the youth of Matautu. For every 20 jars sold we sponsor one child’s school fees for one term. A rising tide lifts all boats.
